United Auto Supply sponsors the Thunderstox division at the La Crosse Fairgrounds Speedway. These are formerly street-legal cars, with modifications made only for safety. Many of these cars you see on the track, you may have passed on the road over the past several years. No racing modifications, or racing parts are allowed on these cars. These are also normally cars from the 70's, 80's and 90’s. These cars race on a smaller, inner oval, quarter mile track. A minimum weight of 3400 pounds is required and they must race on regular street tires.
